Raised as a small town girl in Alabama, I’ve always had big dreams of one day owning my own boutique. I could remember as a little girl drawing sketches of clothing that I would sell in my pretend store. Some of my fondest memories are playing dress up and styling my sister, girlfriends, dolls, and basically anyone who would entertain the creative side of me.
Later, I followed my passion to the University of Alabama, where I earned dual degrees in Apparel & Textiles-Fashion Merchandising, and Business Marketing. I’ve had many titles over the years: cashier at Piggly Wiggly, lifeguard at the local country club, waitress, bartender, marketing intern for a lifestyles magazine, Senior Sales Representative for a dental company, and now, proud owner of District South.
District South represents sophisticated southern style, with sass. We offer a variety of trendy clothing and accessories that will suit the fancy of any woman. Though a shoe girl myself, I will continue to leave that up to Christian Louboutin & Jimmy Choo to do what they do best; sorry, we don’t offer shoes on our site. Through affordable style, we aim to motivate strong women of all varieties to be “their own kind of Beautiful”.
My faith and the unselfish support of family, friends, and my amazing husband, inspired me to start my online boutique. So whatever clothing item or accessory defines your kind of Beautiful, that something is waiting for you here at District South. (Go here to learn more about Kristina Frazier)
